Like all establishments, it is the people that makes the difference. The lounge and den had exceptional views, the breakfast presented a good selection, simple and delicious. Fernando who looked after us in the restaurant deserves a special mention, and the front office staff Luciana who took the time to extend a very warm welcome and disseminated all information regarding the hotel’s dining experience, laundry pricing etc. No request was ever too tall for housekeeping, bravo! Back of the house - the chef/executive chef -mucho, mucho gracias, all our meals at dinner was delicious, great presentation and pleasing to the eyes.

The property is set in beautiful grounds in a stunning location on a hill by a lake 20k from Bariloche. It’s a proper old school hotel with formal (ish) dining and printed invoices on high quality paper. It’s a bit like stepping into an earlier era. Everything is pretty much how it must have been when it was built in the 60s? It’s all high quality, clean and well maintained but very much of its time. I loved it. The staff, especially Facundo on reception, are real career service professionals not just jobbing students. It’s that kind of place. It has a The Shining ambience which, again, I loved!

We liked the hotel itself, you can see that it's taken care of. The family room was good, the beds were very comfortable. The room was cleaned every day! The breakfast was good and the dinner pretty exceptional. The staff was very professional, helpful and very nice. As a bonus there is a small shop nearby the hotel to buy soft drinks, fruits and cookies for the kids. And a secret beach in a 20 minute walk.

Daria

Clean hotel with all the essentials. Friendly staff. The resturant including the included morning breakfast was very good. Definitely needs a car. The commute back and forth from Bariloche is a good 45 mins to hour one way and that assuming little traffic. Also getting an Uber or taxi will itself take 20 to 30 mins unless you are lucky. So something to consider.

The hotel is super cozy and the staff is super nice. Rooms are spacious as well as the common areas. The hotel is located ouside of central Bariloche but it is inmerse in nature, more quite and close to the Pañuelos port. The hotel has a good restaurant for having dinner and a bar for having drinks and snacks at any time.
